Challenge

Build a multi-story, multi-use building on an entire downtown San Antonio city block with a seven foot elevation change across the block.

Solution

The Coyle team worked closely with the architect, the contractor and city inspectors to construct sidewalks, ramps and stairs in the public right-of-way in full ADA compliance for multiple street level finished floor elevations.

Services Provided

Coyle Engineering platted the property, designed an off-site facility for an existing bank to be a tenant in the new building, closed a city street during construction for staging/delivery space, designed ADA compliant “flat work” from the building edge to the back of the curb around the entire block and designed utility service connections.
