Challenge

The project required the construction of a large sanitary sewer lift station as part of the San Antonio Water System (SAWS) sewer collection system on an old Air Force base.

Solution

The Coyle team worked with SAWS to assist with the creation of the design guidance manual for lift stations.

Services Provided

Coyle Engineering prepared construction documents for off-site improvements to serve a proposed warehouse at Port San Antonio (formerly Kelly AFB), including a self-priming duplex sanitary sewer lift station, four inch force main, 10-inch sewer main, water main loop for fire protection, and drainage improvements for the extension of Justice Way Road.
