Mike has 28 years of civil engineering design experience across Texas. He works in professional leadership positions to promote civil engineers as key to sustaining the health of a community's infrastructure and environment.

Selected as the 2011 Engineer of the Year by the Bexar Chapter of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers, Mike is one of only nine engineers to earn both this designation and Young Engineer of the Year (1995).
